Sorry, not this time.

But don't give up! As a valued guest of Shepler's Ferry, we're excited to introduce our NEW Trading Cards campaign. Keep collecting cards for your chance to win!

Open to all passengers of Shepler's Mackinac Island Ferry.

Trading cards are distributed exclusively by Shepler's ferry captains. Passengers must ask the captain if they have any trading cards. Only captains are trusted with the knowledge and distribution of these cards.

Winning Cards

Out of 1,400 cards in circulation, 7 are designed as winning cards - one for each vessel in Shepler's Fleet. Scan the QR code to find out if your trading card is a winner! Winning cards must be redeemed at the Shepler's Business Office in Mackinaw City.

Winners must present their winning card in person at Shepler's Business Office in Mackinaw City. The prize can be claimed only once.

Participants are encouraged to keep the program details confidential to maintain the exclusivity of the event. Sharing information about the trading card program is not discouraged, but we ask that sharing be limited to close friends and family to preserve the campaign's authenticity.

General Conditions

Lost, stolen, or damaged cards will not be replaced. Shepler's reserves the right to modify or terminate the trading card program at any time without prior notice. By participating, passengers agree to abide by these rules and any decisions made by Shepler's, which are final and binding.

We're in our Limited Edition Era

Launched on our 79th Anniversary, Shepler's Ferry introduced Fleet Trading Cards as an exclusive, limited edition campaign! With only 1,400 cards in circulation, this secretive and thrilling program invites you to ask your captain if they have any trading cards—they are the only cast members entrusted with the knowledge and distribution of these special items, so be sure to keep it under wraps. Hidden among the vessel cards are seven winning cards, and if you have one, bring it to Shepler's Business Office in Mackinaw City to redeem your prize of two non-expiring VIP tickets for your next trip to Mackinac Island!

Per the Captains, Felicity is the easiest to steer back on course if you've veered off track in the water. However, she's also the most noticeable when a mistake has been made.

The Hope

In 2009, Moran Iron Works of Onaway cut the aft deck off The Hope and rebuilt it with an additional 17' to accommodate brand new 16V MTU engines and other modifications.

Wyandot's cabin was the first in our fleet to be soundproofed to help control ambient noise in the winter of 2022.

Capt. Shepler

Capt. Shepler was named after the co-founder of Shepler's Mackinac Island Ferry - Willian Howard Shepler, or Cap to all who knew him.

Miss Margy

The Queen of our fleet and named after Margret Shepler Cap's wife. Miss Margy is subsequently the largest vessel in our fleet.
