Since 1945, Shepler’s Ferry has proudly served the Great Lakes community. As a family-owned business rooted in Michigan, we feel a deep connection to our customers and friends across the country, including those in Florida who have been severely impacted by recent hurricanes. In this time of need, we’re partnering with Project Outreach to provide essential relief to the hardest-hit communities. We invite you to join us in this effort to deliver vital supplies and support to families as they work to rebuild.
Thank you for standing with us to bring aid to those who need it most. Together, we can make a lasting difference, one donation at a time.
How you can help:
From now through October 31st, we’re collecting donations and raising funds to cover essential items that are critical to recovery. Together, we’ll ensure that these supplies reach those who need them most. We encourage you to bring any of the needed items to our drop-off locations at Shepler’s Ferry docks:
- Mackinaw City: 556 E. Central Ave
- St. Ignace: 601 N. State St
What your donation supports:
Funds raised will go toward purchasing and delivering specific items that are urgently needed:
- Food & Water: Non-perishable foods & cases of water first-aid items, garbage bins & bags
- Clothing & Essentials: Clothing, shoes, unopened toiletries, diapers, wipes
- Emergency Items: Flashlights, batteries, first-aid items
- Comfort Items: Blankets, coats, hats, mittens
- Pet Care: Canned and bagged pet food
Our goal is to raise $10,000 to help us purchase, transport, and distribute these supplies directly to communities in need. Every contribution makes a difference, and with your help, we can bring hope and essential relief to those rebuilding their lives after the storm.
