Ticket Purchase Policies

By completing a ticket purchase, you are agreeing to abide by the Ticket Purchase Policies noted below.

Ferry Tickets

  • All ferry tickets are completely non-refundable.
  • Tickets are valid from date of purchase through Oct. 31 of the current year.
  • Each ticket is a limited revocable license and may be nullified at the sole discretion of the sponsoring organization.
  • Tickets (including Island add-ons) ordered online will be presented in one QR Code provided in an email confirmation.
  • Please check the selected schedule information carefully before completing your purchase; ticket purchases are final and are not refundable or changeable.
  • There will be no refund or reschedule for any unused services.

 

Scheduled Cruises (Lighthouse, Night Sky, and 4th of July)

  • Lighthouse Cruises are refundable up to 48 hours prior to the cruise departure. No exceptions for cancellation requests will be accepted after that. Night Sky and 4th of July Cruise tickets are completely  non-refundable.
  • On board concession stand availability is subject to change throughout the 2024 season. We highly suggest reviewing any updated information on our website prior to your arrival.

 

Personal Property

  • Shepler’s Mackinac Island Ferry is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged property.
  • Shepler’s and its cast members handle all baggage with diligent care. In spite of due diligence, damage might happen under certain circumstances. However, Shepler’s does not accept liability for conditions that result from normal wear and tear such as scratches, minor cuts, dents, and/or damage to checked luggage such as:
    • Broken wheels or feet
    • Loss of external locks
    • Pull straps, hooks, & security straps
    • Zips or locks, damage resulting from over packing
    • Damage to retractable luggage handle
    • Fragile or perishable items damaged during transport
    • Items unsuitably packed or unsuitable for transportation.

Shepler’s does not charge a fee for luggage handling, therefore we do not claim responsibility when it is lost or damaged. However, we will keep an eye out for this item and contact you should it be found.

  • Please note E-bikes on Mackinac Island are prohibited, with some exceptions. It is your responsibility to view those exceptions at cityofmi.org or call 906-847-3300 directly. Shepler’s Mackinac Island Ferry is not responsible should your E-bike be impounded or fines if you are ticketed. Bike tickets will not be refunded for partial transportation of E-Bikes if an E-Bike is seized on Mackinac Island.

 

Parking

  • All paid parking is non-refundable
