Looking to walk the Mackinac Bridge this Labor Day but need transportation? Shepler’s can help! By purchasing one roundtrip ticket guests can boat-hop between Mackinaw City and St. Ignace while enjoying a stop at Mackinac Island on the way! We will be running our schedule as printed in our 2025 brochure, starting at 6:30am out of Mackinaw City and St. Ignace.
Shepler’s roundtrip tickets are not assigned to a port at the time of purchase. Guests can depart from either mainland port, go to Mackinac Island, and return to the other mainland port on one roundtrip ticket.
St. Ignace
St. Ignace Day Parking
Parking operations in St. Ignace will run as normal. The rate is $15 per vehicle for the day. Guests choosing to ride Shepler’s and park at our dock should proceed to 601 N. State Street, St. Ignace.

Little Bear East Arena:
Offering Special Event Parking from 5am – 11am .

Offering continuous shuttle service from Little Bear East Arena beginning at 6:20am. $10 per person one-way CASH ONLY. No reservations. Please call for pick-up and drop-off locations.
This does not impact Shepler’s regular ground shuttle operations in St. Ignace. We will continue to offer shuttle service only from commercial lodging properties within a 3-mile radius of our dock for guests traveling to Mackinac Island. Please note: We will not be providing any shuttle service related to the Mackinac Bridge Walk.
Mackinaw City
Parking will operate as usual for Labor Day in Mackinaw City at a rate of $15 per vehicle for the day. To help streamline your arrival, we encourage all guests to pre-pay for day parking online in advance. This flat rate applies to all active day parking lots we are using that day. Complimentary shuttle service from our parking lots to the dock will be running as normal; however, please be aware that wait times may be longer due to increased holiday traffic. **Please Note: Shepler’s will not be providing transportation to the Mackinac Bridge from either our Mackinaw City or St. Ignace docks. Guests are responsible for arranging their own transportation to the bridge. For more details and options, please visit mackinacbridge.org.**
